Your posts about the kids always scare me... Mrs HoneyBadger and I are expecting our first next March, but I will just be getting off my night job by then. I don't think I'll ever get to sleep through a night!

In college, my roommates and I had a huge party at our place (not that uncommon). When we woke up the next morning, one of my roommates who disappeared for about an hour in the middle of the party while hammered, woke up and said "I think I bought a pair of shoes online last night".

We looked at him and were like, WTF! When we asked him why he thinks that, he said that he received an email from a company thanking him for his purchase and that his shoes would be in the mail in the next 3 business days. His credit card would be charged the full amount when the shoes shipped. Here's the kicker, the shoes were just over $400! He never heard the end of it (and no, he didn't buy a pair of fancy stilettos, they were just a plain ole basic pair of boat shoes).

To this day, I still don't know if he refuted the charge or kept the shoes.

no sir you wont be sleeping at all . if you have ever worked in entertainment its kinda the same scheduled , but without a day off . 2hrs on 1 off, 1 hour on 3 off , 1 hour on 2 hour off ......totally random and all the friking time . believe it or not i had this same schedule for about 20 years , but i could not take the gig and it came with some down time (not much) . i know it wont last forever but damn .honestly if i did not do my own thing for work and have a stay at home wife , im not sure we would be as sane as we have been . a life of naps gets old and cranky fast

I'm sure that'll change in a few years... Before you know it you'll have another set of twins on the way!

my late night purchase was not an impulse buy. I also won't see it for a nother three months or so.

    It's made by Larue.

Optics is another story. I've got some $$$ burning a hole in my pocket and dangit I want an optic.

I'll keep that at bay until I can actually look through a few. If anyone has any decent optics to look through, I'm looking forward to sneaking a peek. Really, I just said that.
