Hey, for CTD that IS a good price. And if you buy it at that price, they'll offer you the chance to purchase 1k rounds of M193 for the LOW LOW BARGAIN price of $990!

I retired four years ago yesterday after working 22 years of rotating shifts. I thrived on swing and graveyard shift. The 7 days a month that I had to work day shift was miserable.

I stop in and lurk around here frequently but I not sure if I'm part of the "Night Crew" because I'm not working.

I managed to skeeve off a morning of work and inadvertently slept sans alarm clock until 11AM. I'd been missing my full 8 hours of beauty sleep needed to be fully functional for about a week with only about 6 and worked 16 hours Sunday with insufficient sleep the night before.

Yes, I am a night owl. I don't do morning well. It comes from years of having to work late hours/overnighters/weekends in IT. I'm not on a regular overnight shift like some of you guys.

I think I qualify in all dept's. I'm an insomniac, a daysleeper, and work strictly night shifts.

Now thats just cheating. You're only "in" because you're an insomniac. You work nights because your a daysleeper, and you're a daysleeper because you work nights .

Had to re-read that a few times to make sure I got the order right. Lol.

I work nights because I'm a daysleeper AND an insomniac. So ha!

(Something tells me that I'll look at this later and realize that wasn't quite the stunning display of verbal swordsmanship that I thought it was at the time......)

But what came first? The insomnia, the daysleeping or the night working?

I could see the insomnia first, causing you to sleep during the day, which could have gotten you fired from you day job, and force you to get a night job and work nights.

General, intractable insomnia at all hours around the clock. So I started working nights, because it's more pay and less stress. Which turned me into a daysleeper.

    And the chicken came first

Much to the dismay of Mrs Chicken.

    Is it dinner time yet?

Tonight is spaghetti. Figure I should take a break from eating brisket and beans.
