The Ship I was on held less than 90 people and was an inside passage cruise where we stopped at locations you could not stop at on a large ship or probably any other ship unless you chartered one yourself. It did bow landings on small islands, went on some great expeditions, one place we did a landing only inhabitants were a couple that lived in a modest cabin but it had some amazing hot springs. and after the cruise ended in Juneau we spent another 8 days doing excursions on land.
I was just messin' with ya! Even experiencing Alaska from a cruise ship is remarkable! That does sound like it was a nice experience though, and getting on land like that would make that company quite desirable.
