So are you guys insomniacs too, or do you actually have a legit reason for being up so late (work, etc?)

I take it you're an insomniac?

Yeah, I occasionally have to work late, but generally this is my most productive time of the day (can't you tell with me chatting on forums?). LOL.

Oh naturally, its a proven fact that the higher post count a person has, the more of a workaholic they are!

What's this "legit" bull crap? I am a Night Person. Just because I'm normally up all night doesn't mean I'm not "legit". I do not suffer from insomnia. I just sleep better during the day than I do at night. I just did some internet research on it. The last time I talked to a sleep doctor was in the late 70's and he told me that my normal is abnormal and Live With It. I just found out that in the mid 1980's being a Night Owl has been officially recognized a Disorder and can be a Disability. I have been this way all my life. Even as kid I was a Night Owl. My Dad was a Night Person too.

I retired four years ago yesterday after working 22 years of rotating shifts. I thrived on swing and graveyard shift. The 7 days a month that I had to work day shift was miserable.

I stop in and lurk around here frequently but I not sure if I'm part of the "Night Crew" because I'm not working.

"I'd like you to know at four in the morning, things are comin' to mind
All I see, all I've done, and those I hope to find
I'd like to remind you at four in the morning my world is very still
The air is fresh under diamond skies, makes me glad to be alive"

Have a Good Day. And Night.

You, sir, are NOT a legit member of the night crew...

There is no real definition. I post up in here on my nights before and after a work shift when I'm transitioning. I'm not a "legit" whore, but I post in the post whore thread...

For the record though, having a sleeping disorder, such as being a daysleeper, is a legit reason. Besides, i think its more of a reason just to see who is online at night when there is no one else to keep you entertained.

I managed to skeeve off a morning of work and inadvertently slept sans alarm clock until 11AM. I'd been missing my full 8 hours of beauty sleep needed to be fully functional for about a week with only about 6 and worked 16 hours Sunday with insufficient sleep the night before.

Yes, I am a night owl. I don't do morning well. It comes from years of having to work late hours/overnighters/weekends in IT. I'm not on a regular overnight shift like some of you guys.
    My Feedback

Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."
