If I'm looking to sleep more than 4 hours, I'll take one of the Costco brand "Sleep Aid" pills and it seems to help without leaving me groggy and foggy for the next 18 hours like benedryl, melatonin, or any other sleep aids do.
My wife works nights so our room is setup for vampires with blackout cellular shades inside the window frames and heavy curtains. I've just always had trouble falling asleep. No issues staying asleep at night, but the odd sleep patterns of the nightwork, which isn't always consistently the same hours. really messes with me.
