    Default fs2000

just picked this up today. it's really light, almost seems like a toy. tons of plastic inside and out. trigger feels weird but breaks fairly clean. havent shot it yet but will try and get a clip thru it in the morning.

did i tell you guys how understanding my wife is today?

i paid 2k. the thing that kind of scares me is everything is plastic. the only metal is the barrel, bolt, and gas system. the trigger group feels like it belongs in a squirt gun. i'm sure it's the same thing people thought when glocks came out. i recall people saying they would never buy a plastic gun including me. i'm sure it's all quality and it sure is light.

You're trying to get too close with your camera and you're inside the minimum focusing distance. Try shooting from slightly further away for sharper pictures.

I've been on the fence about one of those. Does your HALO fit on it?

    What! Read the book! That's, that's, ...

Good luck with that. I've been struggling trying to find a good way to light my XCR indoors without too much luck. Actually, I know how to do it, I just don't have the right lighting.

For closeup stuff (within 4 feet, usually), look for the button/dial/switch/menu option that looks like a little flower. That's the macro focus mode. It'll allow you to get up close and personal with stuff. Just watch out if you're using the flash, it'll wash out pictures if you're too close.

I thought the same thing when I got my ps-90, but after 500-600 rounds through it without a jam or ftf, it is gaining my confidence. I've been thinking about getting a fs let us know how you like it.
