My rebuttal to a Libtard on FB

First let me say that the aurora PD did a fantastic job in responding to the shooting at the Century Theater last week. They were there in force in about 1 minute, 30 seconds - very fast (certainly not typical for most capabilities of LE - just spread to thin).

Sadly, 1 minute, 30 seconds just isn't ever quick enough. Since we can't carry a law enforcement officer with us every/anywhere we go, we must all take on the responsibility of personal safety.

I'm amazed at how many people just can't understand this.

This! Pretty much sums up why I CCW. One and a half minuets is about as quick as we could ever hope for an officer to arrive on scene of our emergency. Unfortunatly in this case that was way too long. I'm sure that someone called this in, and it was still too little too late.

This part of this tragedy should be all it takes for someone on the edge to go ahead and get their CCW.
