It is so obvious what is going on here.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

I honestly don't see this ammo sales ban getting any farther than some posturing on the part of Loutenberg* and other antis and leftists.
Keep in mind folk that they pen these damn things EVERY FREAKIN' session and they rarely get anywhere (especially since the GOP controlled house won't take it up ... and after November I suspect the house and senate will both be under GOP control).

A World Without Guns <- Great Read!
I liked the term "regular civilian". Can't let those whackos get their hands on ammo...too dangerous![]()
I just posted this on my Facebook ... I know most of you all around here get the details but the sheep out there don't so I had to go in to more detail....
but question still stands.. how does it help at all ??
Can someone explain to me why banning online ammo sales will help anything? So what if the aurora shooter bought 6000 rounds online .. he only used less then 100 rounds total ( 50-75 rounds of .223, 8 rounds of shotgun, 15 rounds of .40 cal pistol rounds) I can go buy all that at ANY Wally world for less then 100 bucks( would be less then 50 bucks but the pistol rounds come in 50 round boxes only) and pay CASH. If you buy online you have to use a Credit Card, that has your name on it! Pretty much ALL online retailers of ammo require you sign for the delivery. When I buy ammo at Wally World they look at my ID to see if I'm over 18 ( over 21 for pistol rounds) that's it. they don't write my name down .. NOTHING. You know how they even know that the aurora shooter bought 6000 rounds?... Cuz he used a dun dun dun ......... CREDIT CARD!
Hell just a couple of months ago I bought about 200 shotgun shells at Wally World. no one batted an eye. all I did was "flash" my ID and on my way I went ( after paying cash of course)
So again explain to me how this is going to help ANYTHING Other then drive up ammo prices, remove discounts for buying in bulk, cost JOBS for these online retailers, and make buying ammo even more anonymous then it is now?
