Reason # 1573 to NOT live in Denver...

I rarely even go to Denver, but I would force them to come find me...

I saw a stop light camera flash this morning as I went through a yellow light. Going to be pissed if I get a ticket in the mail. Timing on that thing was way off.

I find it kind of amusing that they're going to try and tell what race the guy in a jacket, pants, boots, gloves and a black helmet is.

Actually wasn't them. The driver's face shot was pretty clear and he was only wearing sunglasses. He was obviously Caucasian, which I am obviously not.

What kind of standards would that set? Fix a ticket because you are LEO? Poor moral standards. LEO's are held to a higher standard that the regular public.

    Actually you just admitted fault.
You can not legally enter an intersection unless you know you can clear the intersection under a green light... when the intersection is controlled by an official traffic device (ie. light)

Go to court and fight it though. The response you should claim is that the light was green last time you saw it.
They will say that according to the photo you didn't clear the intersection under a green light.
You need to state that after you observed the green light you were busy observing traffic and the intersection while driving to make sure it was safe to clear the intersection of traffic, not staring at the light.
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.

I always thought it was "The light turned yellow right before I enter the intersection, I could not have safely stopped while traveling within the speed limit with the time and space given."

Its gotten me out of more than one "orange" Light

The speed limit is the maximum speed allowed under optimal conditions. Conditions could warrant that you should not be doing the "limit" could be many things like the weather, traffic, conditions, etc.

Traveling at the speed limit is not a defense for running an intersection and not being able to stop. You are stating you are driving too fast for conditions if you state you can't stop.

Again, go fight it in court. Memorize the statements I listed above. You are showing no fault and you will have a defense.

If you're referring to my comments, you're mistaken. If I'm in roll call at the time the photo was taken, I could easily prove that I wasn't the driver of the vehicle. Therefore, I am not liable, even if that was my vehicle, (which I've already explained it wasn't). No "fixing" involved. Just because we're held to a higher standard doesn't mean we can't be cleared of something we didn't do, just like anyone else.
