Default New (to me) Trigger Type...

Ok, so I found myself wondering what it would be like to have a very light two stage trigger..... on a pistol. I understand how worthless a lot of you will of course think/say it is, but, I had extra parts for my Hk45 (hammer), so I decided to make it happen..... The pull on it was already decent, creep minimal. After being done, it has a total pull of 3lbs, 4oz, with a first stage (best I can describe it) of 2lbs 14oz, and a crisp break after applying the next 6oz. I've been playing with it and it is growing on me.... I know this is a target rifle thing, but for playin it should work great, and for anytning else, the last "stage" is so light, you don't notice it. What do you guys think? The Trigger still works fine, it resets after being pulled and everything, I would have to put the gun in your hands to fully see..... I'll have Monky try it out when he gets down here...

I tried something similar to the ol'GLOCK 34 I had... peeps around me tell me "oh that's not good.. it could go off by accident".. didn't have a problem with it because of the trigger safety thing a majig...

on an HK... I think it be cool, but it would be a lil hard for me to see it being carried around cocked and locked or whatever order that was

Try it out... I think it would be freaken awesome to have a lighter trigger on an HK

The S&W SW99/Walther P99 came with a trigger they called the "AS" trigger (for "Anti-Stress")

It was basically what you describe. I had an SW99 compact in .40 with an AS trigger and I couldn't get used to it, but some folk love it.

I was going to post this. My full tilt german P99 has one of those triggers. It makes you realize just how much "Trigger Control" means.
