Default Sitting on the beach on an iPad

And I'm watching the navy drill...water landing, get out of "boat", carrying boats over their heads jog on beach with them over head, back in boat, paddle back out....rinse and repeat.

Last night at dusk hey were repelling out of copters into the water and swimming out to a boat waiting.

Edit: while I was typing, big ship (destroyer maybe ...it's number 8) is now cruising about a mile out

It's pretty interesting to watch with a cold beer in you hand

LPD 9 is USS Denver... LPD 8 is the retired USS Dubuque (spelling?).. That would put you in the San Diego area. But you are a East coaster... i give up. Where are you?

Coronado island. Perfect 78 degrees with a light wind.

It's absolutely beautiful here...but way too much traffic and too many people. There's a line for everything. Coffee line, bathroom line, every restaurant has a line. We went to the gap yesterday to buy another bathing suit. There were 50 in Line at the register

Umm, the "line" is the price to pay for the 'perfect 78 degrees'!
