Default NRA is giving away 25,000 NASCAR tickets

The first 25,000 who sign up for a FREE subscription to NRA American Warrior digital magazine will also receive a FREE ticket to the NASCAR Nationwide NRA American Warrior 300 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on September 1.

There's no catch; you won't be billed for anything later. NRA just wants to disseminate their new digital magazine to as many people as possible. I believe you will have to pay a service fee to Ticketmaster.

Issue #9 just went hot this week; the cover story is about the C130s battling the Waldo Canyon Fire.

To sign up for a free subscription and get a free ticket to the race, go to:

    www.NRA.org/warrior

    or text "Warrior" to 64274

(This is one of the magazines our Colorado Springs office does for the NRA)

I'm pretty certain the reason that NRA and NASCAR's client base crosses over so much is that they like to see people who always go left crash into things...

Now that was funny. I watch it I guess because it is on. I miss the old Thursday/Saturday night thunder on ESPN with the Midgets. I still have some races taped that I watch now and then with a young Jeff Gordon.

Should try watching some LeMans style racing. BMWs, Mazdas, Porsches, Corvettes and prototype cars all on the track at the same time.

Plus, their crashes are more impressive.

Been to the 24 Heures Du Mans twice and been to almost every F-1 race in europe from 81-84. Been to the Long beach GP from 77-81.

Not as Hick as one may think. So how many times ya been to Le Mans? It is a great week and a great race. Also have raced at most of the RR tracks in America when I was in Karts 73-80. Many are gone like Ontario and Westwood but Road America and Mid Ohio were fun. Never got to run some of the east coast tracks but did do 155 down the back chute at Daytona in the WKA race in the 70's. Not bad for flat on your back 2" off the ground with 200'cc of power.
