    Default 15-22 Upper

Will a M&P 15-22 upper fit on a standard AR Lower?

From what I was able to find, S&W changed the dimensions just enough to prevent this from happening.

If you are looking for a drop-on dedicated .22 AR15 upper check out CMMG. They are supposed to make some good stuff. There is another company that makes these as well, but I can't recall their name right now.

Spikes does a good dedicated upper, but given what you'll pay for just the upper, and the going rate on the MP15-22 being not too far off ($450 +/-) why not just go with a dedicated training weapon.. just my humble and in use opinion
