Hotels are notorious for having vehicles broken into/burglarized. Out of state plates offer an even better target.

Hotels near gun show sites must offer the greatest target versus risk opportunity for thieves.

Will keep an eye out down here, but sincerely doubt these thieves will be caught or those items recovered.

i leave all kinds of stuff in the car but all ways bring the guns and coins in the house or hotel . leaving firearms in a truck or trailer especially if your out of town is a big no no . letting your guard down with firearms leads to bad guys with guns and good people being hurt . am i saying that i have the best discipline no , but i think you get my point . i do feel for the guy , if it happened to me id be really upset but id also feel as if it were in some way my fault .
remember that scene in full metal jacket about the unlocked footlocker ?
something to the effect that the unlocked footlocker brings thieves

when its all said and done i hope the guy gets his stuff back and the thieves are brought to justice
i agree alex at least bring the guns inside.......

I talked to an Electricians secretary, she told me that his van got cleaned out in (Littleton) WHILE IN SIGHT, WHILE IN A RESTAURANT for LUNCH. About 6 years ago.

Illegals are EXPERTS at theft, probably genius level. They could SEE the friggin van through the front door, everything was still GONE. (yes it was locked) according to her. Nice little WTF moment.
