Stupid lives in Parker
According to standard liberal reasoning of blaming the inanimate object, this magnet on my truck started a fight this afternoon.

While I completed my reserve duty today, my family was at...we'll call it an amateur sporting event to protect the innocent...in Parker today. Since my son's coach was sponsoring the event this month, they were staying late to help with the tear down and clean up. I got there right as they were wrapping up, helped throw some stuff in the trailer and pick up trash.
As I'm getting in my truck to head back to COS for dinner with the coach and team, a woman parks next to me and notices the truck magnet. The conversation went something like this:
Liberal: Right to bear arms, eh. That's what James Holmes had didn't he?
Me: Not anymore, he doesn't.
Liberal: (getting louder and a little shrill) Well, people died, how can you have that sticker???
I don't answer, because I'm tired, hungry and really don't want to have this conversation right now. I get in my truck and put the key in the ignition.
Liberal: (yelling) It's about time for some regulations!
Me: I disagree.
At this point I start the truck, drowning her out and leave the parking lot. Now, my wife is in her van behind me watching all this. The liberal now approaches her, perhaps expecting a sympathetic woman's ear -
Liberal: Can you believe he feels that way about guns still after all that's happened? It's his right he said. (very disdainfully and disapprovingly)
Wife: Uh, yeah. He's my husband.
Liberal: Well, he's an ass!
Wife: Well, so are you! It's the Second Amendment, you might want to look it up. Obama-lover!
At this point, my wife starts up her van and leaves as well. By now, my son's coach and his wife (she's a cop) have gotten out of their truck and the liberal starts yelling nonsense about how anyone can buy a Gatling gun and how gun control would have saved so many people. The cop begins to refute her with facts and at this point, the liberal shuts up and leaves.
Between the HOA's and people like this woman, I'm glad I don't live in Parker. At least we had a good time laughing about it over dinner!
