I did mine a couple days ago. $340 and change and I needed emissions on a 2006!! I got charged an additional $25 per month for it sitting in my garage. This state can suck it! In Alaska they did away with emissions testing because it didn't really do any good and Registration is like $100 every 2 years.

Where is all this money going anyways?!?!?

I used to not have a problem with the DMV and registration. Cheaper than some places I've lived. In the last 4-5 years that has changed. Road and bridge tax for vehicles and trailers. Non transferable by the way. Late fees for registering previously non running vehicles. The total screw up of collector/classic plates. The list goes on.

Don't get me started on the revenue enhancing emissions testing.
