For the pistol, look into a "bump board", I'm looking to make one for my G34 w/ 33 rnd mag. Not practical at all but is good for a laugh and cheap to make. Basically wood board with some pegs in it that you slip the pistol onto. Then hold board and put forward pressure onto the handgun.

If you find the time as well as something that fits my night shift schedule I'd be happy to let you try an AR w/ bump stock. (Goes for anybody interested.)
Pretty comfortable bump firing from the hip and shoulder... doesn't mean I'll hit sh*t though
It be nice just to pull and hold the trigger all the way back and let the thing go

FWIW, I recall AK owner said someone offered him $22k and he passed, so you're probably close on the $ for a Chinese AK but I think pre-ban conversions can be had for less. Looking around Sturmgewehr, I see a few conversions for around $18k. I would guess that real Russian AK's go for much, much more.
Gawd damn! I'll just continue to dream... having that in that kind of price range, geez

It's pricey, yeah - but whether truly ridiculous depends on your means, I guess.

The drawback for most people is not just the cost, but that you must actually go into business, and do business, in order to get and keep the licenses, in addition to the yearly fees, taxes, compliance inspections and paperwork.

That would be some serious work that needs to be put into all that... which I'd love to do but I have no experience with any sorta firearm manufacturing and anything related to it... I'm a man with very limited skills

I bet it was.... I'd be changing out barrels every 4 to 6 months if I had one myself

transferable fa ak's can be found alot more reasonable than 25,000 but you need to have cash ready and know where to dig. it's not uncommon to get a beater needing a rebuild for around 12,000-15,000 the key would be finding one with the serial on the receiver so you can remove the trunnion but it's not mandatory

This is the way i will be going, once i get back on track.
Yes to some it's a hassle, yes it cost money, yes, ye,s yes. However the cost involved is no where near the cost of buying a transferable select fire rifle.
