    Went ahead and picked up an Eotech XPS2-0 the other day. I'm sure I'll eventually evolve into an Acog guy, but for now, I really like the Eotech.

    Now, just need to find some time to go shooting this weekend! pics to follow...

    Aimpoint. Get a comp m4 they use 1 AA bat. I can't remember the last time I changed a battery on mine. It's constant on I think my battery is 3-4 years old. All if them at nvg compatible. The comp m4 is a 2 moa. Even the comp m2 is a good optic you can find those locally used for under $200 and they are pretty much bomb proof. 4moa and have a 5 year battery life. Not bad.

    I didn't know they were that reasonably priced used. What is there to look for on used red dots?

    Im cross dominant as well but I still can shoot with an acog just fine. I keep both eyes open at all times and my non dominant eye takes over when i focus on the reticle. Now iron sights are a different story.
