I had a well-black belted friend claimed to have fought Chuck in a tournament many years ago. He said Chuck was a proper gentleman, as he helped my buddy up from the ground every time he knocked him down. My buddy claimed to have actually blocked one punch out of the many thrown, but he's been known to exaggerate.
Many years ago I took Tang Soo Do, that Chuck was teaching at the time under one of his instructors.
We all got to meet him in an exhibition match. Very nice, funny and humble.
I have met him several more times here in CO at a few celeb, party/shoots near Aspen. Still the same guy.
