Default Anyone see Walther P-22's at gunshows? Prices?

Just wondering whats the best gunshow to go to to find the little Walthers or Ruger 22's, and what prices you may have seen, and do you need to pay to get a BG check. etc. Thanks

There's one for $349 at Mile High Shooting in Erie (Hwy 52). The background check fee is in effect at $10 per check.

Check gallery of guns. When I was at the gun store we were selling them for about $330~ depending on what variation/ color it was. SR22s were about $350.

Is your heart set on a P-22? I wanted one for along time until I started reading about the crappy metal used in making them. I know some guys have ran them for years and haven't had problems, but there were enough stories of catastrophic failures that made me look at Brownings and Rugers. Finally ended up with the Browning Buckmark with the threaded barrel for a suppressor. It's a great shooting little pistol.

Get the Ruger. The P 22's are what is kindly referred to as garbage generally. You want a real pistol or a worked over airsoft gun?

Hmmm, well, the Ruger might be the way to go, that browning is cool with a short barrel.
