I see you running, tell me what your running from
Nobody's coming, what ya do that was so wrong.
Since .223 and 5.45x39 are similar in size, I assume Pmags would work fine with this round. Anyone know for sure?
Considering the cost of AK-74 5.45 mags, this seems like a great alternative. Does anyone have the MSA mag adapter for a 5.45 AK-74? Does it feed reliably?
Think it would work in a Polish Tantal?
This will be happening in the future. But, you will have to buy a different lower to fit them. What I was told is that they had a huge contract with a foreign govt but the mag had to fit a slightly modified AR/M4 lower... I can't remember what it is that got changed.
The short side of the story is this - the new lower is going to be around $200 from the MFG of it. I knew who it was at one time but tend to forget names quite fast.
The way I see it, if I can use a Pmag on my 6.8 for a $200ish Rx, my Spikes lower is getting tossed on something else.
Shhhh, be vewwy vewwy quiet.
I'm hunting papers, huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuh.
Burnt gun powder relaxes me....... I like being relaxed.

Just to get back to you--I loaded up one of my p mags with 5.45 and was able to fit around 25 rounds. At about 15 rounds it started to load hard.
It only feeds about 14 rounds smoothly, anything over that wont feed properley.I only tested the mag and wasn't able to insert into a rifle.
My guess is due to the slight size difference in the round it follows in the mag differently.
You might be able to mod the follower so the round sits better, dunno just guessing at this point...
They were suppose to be making 40 rounder Pmags for the .223 at one time and I think they must of decided not to and backed out. Also where are those new Pmags that were suppose to be out in spring and then summer?
