Inserting photos in Posts
ok i know that i am new to this forum, but i have used a forum before and never had this problem. How in the world do you get photos from your hard drive to be included into a post? Every time i try i get little red x's and have to resort to posting them as attachments. An explination on the process or limitations of the forum would be helpful.

you first have to find a place to upload/host your pictures. try www.photobucket.com
then you will have a link to the picture online, all you have to do is insert it into an image tag. i.e.
"[img]insert link to photo in this space[/img]" (remove the "s)

I don't do it that way. I put my pics on Photo Bucket and then I transfer them here. http://photobucket.com/

if I had photo editing software there would be
+1000 on Photobucket. I worked with the founders in the old days at Level 3. Great folks, gun guys too. They have no problem with you posting pics of yourself at the last MG shoot. Did I mention that they just sold their company to Rupert Murdoch for around 300 mln?
Once in a long while something really nice happens to the good guys in the world.
