A heart-warming dog story this time

I just put down our Westy in January and god did that one suck. I have had dogs all my life, growing up we had as many as 6 at a time. When that "Time" comes around and you know that every second with that animal is the last it makes me feel;
A. Lucky to have had it in my life
B. Sad because I look at the time I wasted not truly appreciating the unconditional love and loyalty that animal has for just me.
C. Angry for the other animals out there that don't have a good home (refer to the Douche bag that left that pup in the mt).

I try everything I can to make those last moments of my dogs life truly special, even though that animal has done the same for me every day of its life. Thank god for good Owners, hope people learn a thing or two from this guy.
