Threading a post ban Colt match target hbar
Now since my escape from New York I've been de banning some of my rifles.
I have a post ban match target hbar and was wondering on how easy it would be to thread the muzzle for a brake? I'd hate to swap out the barrel due to it having low round count-aprox 600 rds(remember I lived in New York)
Would it be easy enough for me to do or should I just take it to Bert?
Unless you're a machinist and know how to use a lathe, I would take it to Bert.

I figured the barrel might have been able to thread by hand but it looks a bit too much for the die.

Well i have your mags, here, might as well drive up and use the lathe. Your spouse need to run any wire while you're here?

Your chances of the threads being mis-aligned with a die are great plus the diameter needs to be turned down.

I'll probably drop off the upper to ya to unscrew the barrel.
I'm thinking of going from fixed handle upper to a flat top since I'm gonna thread the barrel anyways. .
