    Default first build-trigger pin issues

I finally got to shoot some lead to day out of a build I cobbled together. I installed a PSA LPK into a PSA lower, and am having issues with the pins that hold the fire control group walking out to the left. I have seen KNS?? pins I thought were for this, but was wondering if there was any other tricks to making the ones I have work?

i would try new pins or make sure yours are fully seated if you installed then from left to right you may not have pushed them all the way in

make sure your lower is machined in spec as well. I had a dpms lower that was machined off and the pins would walk out just a little bit. they never fully came out but would always move from centered

    KNS pins are good bits.

This may sound stupid, but did you make sure you installed the trigger pin in the trigger and the hammer pin in the hammer?

I have seen some newer pins that are machined for either application but some still have designated pins for the trigger and the hammer.

In the picture below the hammer pin is on the left and the trigger pin is on the right.

If your pins look like the ones in the picture below they will go in either location.

Let me know what you find. I've heard many stories about trigger pins walking out but I have never experienced it myself.

Worse comes to worse, you could install a what I refer to as a stamp protector.
