    Default APEX DCAEK

Just got my DCAEK from APEX today, $94 after tax from my local gun shop.

    $87.99 but Tax killed me..$6.07..

    Oh well..

Anyone in the Monument/Colorado Springs interested in helping me do the install?

Planning on posting a review after install...

    However...the goods..

I'd love to help but I'm up in Littleton. It's a pretty easy little project. Check out the Apex youtube videos and get a white pillow case to catch some potential flying springs.

You're going to love that thing once it's installed. Enjoy!

Thanks! I just got done watching and taking notes on the APEX Tactical YouTube Page...my only concern now at this point is reinstallation of my rear sight...I dont have a real accurate way to measure the distance to install it dead center again.

I may end up doing the lower parts myself and then having a smith do the rest..

I'm going to make a trip down to Specialty Sports here soon to talk to there guy and see what he'd run me for a simple install of the Slide portion of the kit.

When it comes to firearms, I know my limits on what I should and Shouldn't do myself and absolutely dont want to damage or ruin my weapon... Nor have to constantly Kentucky windage to get my shots on target because I buggered up my rear sight.

    UPDATE:

Ended up doing the entire install with a friend...We made a witness mark to line the sights up where I had them, but I'm going to confirm on Friday when I go test fire...

It's getting a little late and I have to work tomorrow so an Installation Review will come tomorrow...but for now some pics..

    Parts and field stripped M&P.

    Removed Sear block.

Stock S&W Sear Vs. Apex Sear (lower)

    Spring comparison.

    Trigger assembly removed.

    Stock Vs. APEX

    Installed.

I'll get more information up about this later, didnt take step by step pics...the APEX YouTube video's do a great job of explaining and demonstrating proper installation.
