I hate to say it, but if you don't always check the chamber before handling a gun then you shouldn't even touch the damn gun! That is the first thing I do ALWAYS when I pick up a gun or get handed one... even if it's my AR, stored in it's case, and I know for sure it's empty, I still check the chamber.

Both vendors in question are morons. Who the heck takes a gun into a show without checking the chamber? Who "checks trigger pull" without checking the chamber?

Over the past 5 years, not once but TWICE I've had an armslist seller hand me a loaded gun.

Unfortunately we have allowed that. If you think about it, we're letting the unfit survive when natural selection has become obsolete... I mean really, do you honestly think Joe Biden would be alive today if we just let natural selection do it's thing?

No to nit-pick but that still falls into ND in my book. It means that the weapon was not being properly maintained.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?
