That's too funny! But one thing made me feel like there is no hope for our future:
A police spokeswoman told the Advance that the NYPD's Hate Crime Unit is investigating the incident.
NYPD has a hate crime unit? A hate crime unit? Is it really so bad they need to have an entire division dedicated to hate crimes? Can't find the thread now, but I do remember the "words that need to go away" or whatever thread, and I think it was unanimous that "hate crime" is a phrase we need to be rid of.
