FNG from COS
Wow-can’t believe I just found this. Great info, nice people. Wish I would have found this sooner.
Anyway, FNG from COS here.
A bit about me-
My wife and I both have CCW and I carry a Kahr CW9 and she carries a CM9. I also have an LCP for those hot summer days when I’m wearing shorts and I need to run to the local stop and rob real quick-not to rob it of course.
I’m also building up my first AR-
AX556 lower which I hope will be here in another 4 weeks. (My wife shoots lefty and I’m a normal person-no offense to the lefty’s out there!)
BAD ASS selector and AXTS Raptor Charging Handle (sticking with the Ambi theme)
BCM 16 inch mid upper with VTAC Alpha 13” hand guard.
SSA trigger-I’d rather go for the gusto early then play the upgrade game.
Magpul this, magpul that.
SLAP plate and a TACSTRAP (I like to support the small business owner and so far I’m impressed with what I got)
Troy flip up sights (good sale price) and will go with an Aimpoint PRO down the line.
I’ll be spending some time in the competition section as I’m looking to get into 3-gun. I have a Mossy 590 SPX 6 shot (pump) for home defense and while I’m sure I could use it (I’m looking to have fun-not be first), I’m sure a semi-auto would be nice down the road. Since most of my handguns are CCW friendly, I’m looking at an FNX-9 by next spring and then hope to be able to join some of you for some fun competition and learn a thing or three.
Well time to spend some good quality work time surfing the different sections….
