Default Enfield?? I think whats it worth?

I purchased a gun collection and recieved this beautiful piece. I will never shoot it but it was too pretty to pass up. I was told its an enfield. I would appreciate any info that anyone may have as well as a ballpark value as I would like to sell it. Thanks!!

Are there any other marks on it? The Brits were fond of putting proofs all over everything. The Martini Henry's were mostly 19th century guns. If it is an antique it is much simpler to sell since you can ship without an FFL.

It is very nice looking and looks like a more modern caliber than the 577/450. If it isn't marked it would be a good idea to do a cerrosafe chamber cast to find out what it is. I did that for a rolling block once.

Good gosh that thing is sweet!!!
Yup a Martini alright. As far as value, being a custom it could be anything from basic $500 up past $1000.
Depnding if the custom value is more than the collector value and if it has been converted to another calliber other than .577'.450.

I haven't seen any customs on gunbroker,so you may want to check out some of the custom boards.

Probably in the $700-1000 range depending on the bluing condition, nicks in the stock, what the barrel looks like, any signs of rust or pitting.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

    My Feedback
