    I agree that Dallas PD should have booted the door but at the same time think about how many calls like this the cops get. Woman and her "boyfriend" get into an argument, she threatens to call the cops, calls them and tells them what the cops need to hear to go over there. Then when they boot the door they get civilly sued because they were violating the homeowner's rights because the woman and the BF worked it out. I'm not saying that Dallas PD did the right thing but at the same time none of us were there so it's tough to judge.

    That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

    This is another slippery slope. That's one fear I do have if I ever make it into LE. I don't want to have this situation arise. I guess it would depend on the circumstances, but in this case I think since they heard nothing it was best to err on the side of caution. Tough one!
