There was as of yesterday a advert on Armslist for a Barrett M82A1 (which was posted before and disappeared same day) for a price well under value, has to be a scam. I contacted the poster and below is the reply. I had to laugh. Why do these people think that they can get away with this?

THE RELOADING EQUIPMENT IS NEW. I HAVE USED THE DE-PRIMER AND RESIZING DIE TO DE-PRIME AND RE-SIZE 100 ROUNDS. ALL OTHER EQUIPMENT IS NEW NEVER USED.
The price for the rifle is $2,135 with shipping included.I can't enjoy it due to my job (I work as a casino dealer on a cruise ship) and I left the rifle in Belfast,Maine at a shipping company,ready to be shipped to you or your ffl dealer.The rifle is a gift from my ex husband and i don't care if i sell it cheaper, i want to sell it asap.
I have to let you know that I want a fast deal so if you are really interested the transaction will be done only through Amazon so we both will be protected.First of all, the rifle will be insured during transit so no damage can occur.
