Help pick my bday present
The wife is going to buy me a birthday present, I have it narrowed down to three things that I want, a colt le6920 fde, the black rain silver skulls rifle, or a MacBook pro?
1st of all you're a lucky sob. I'd pick the MacBook Pro.....or maybe the Black Rain Ordnance. Idk that's a hard decision. If you have a CPU and not an AR then get the AR. If you have an AR and no CPU do the Mac.

I picked the Colt. Computers are disposable and have little value after you've used them for a while.
Rifles are durable, will pretty much last forever and will hold their value over time...maybe even appreciate.

I voted Colt but the decision was based purely on 'looks', have to admit.
Not a fan of bling and both the rain and the Mac looked a little blingy.

As I type this on my MacBook Pro...
I love my MacBook Pro, having had it for almost 5 years with Zero issues. So I couldn't argue that choice! My wife, previously a diehard PC user, succumbed last year and has gone Mac. You'll hear crap about 'em, but haters gotta hate...
Otherwise, the FDE Colt makes me drool...my Colt SPR is probably my absolute all time favorite AR. Funny thing is, I almost got a Black Rain carbine with the flags on it instead of the SPR.
Whichever way you choose, you're a lucky man!

I would be blown away if my wife was looking to spend that much on a birthday present for me, good for you.
I agree that the computer will end up being a short term item and a gun will long outlast it. I vote Colt.
If you get the colt now you can convince the wife later that you guys need the mac and just go buy ot for no good reason. The of you get the colt now you will have both.
The black rain is a little too "assault flashy" for me.
P.S. Im also typing this on a macbook and its sweet.
