Default 1 expensive lower or 2 lowers that cost less?

So i am going to be starting a new build and I am torn. Here are my options..

    1) a Noveske Gen1 and a spikes or cmmg - Right around $320
    2) 1 seekin lower - $250

I really like the idea of having 1 really high quality lower for my build but I also like the idea of having 2 lowers so when I get the itch to build another one I already have the next lower. Also, unlikely, but if there is a ban I already have the lower to build. If I go with the 2 lowers I am thinking of a long range platform and then using the extra one as a mid range or a SBR/Suppressed platform sometime down the road.

    thoughts?

I'd just go with the standard, mil-spec lower.

    But that's just me.

I'd rather spend the extra money on a better barrel or bolt carrier group or maybe a trigger upgrade or something.

    You do the math

All of them are GTG and have had no issues or know of other board members who have any problems either.
CMMG for $300+ remember when they were giving away complete rifle blems for a few dollars more. My how fast the " name brand" lowers come & go.

I built a Larue, with their Stealth Sniper upper on a Larue lower. Fit/finish/performance is amazing, I absolutely love it, but honestly, if I had to choose, I'd take two quality mil-spec builds over one "high-end" rifle. ( no, that's not a trade offer)

I am leaning towards the Noveske honestly. I wont start the build for a while because I want to buy all top stuff and have it all and then build it out so I have one night to build the whole rifle. I guess I have always wanted a LaRue, DD, Noveske platform build.

Those surplus ammo ones look nice. maybe get the matched upper and lower from surplus arms and ammo and then also get the noveske. Use the Noveske as the SBR/Supressed rifle and the matched SA&A as my long range platform. I need to ask at work as certain companies are recognized and I can write the purchase off for work so that also needs to be considered.

I have one complete Noveske gun and two SBRs built on Noveske lowers. Not that they aren't great lowers, but it's also not like a golden halo comes out every time I open their cases. I've got Noveske, LMT, Rock River, Larue, Stag, and Superior lowers, as well as a KAC pre-ban, and they all do the same thing. If money is a factor, I'd be more inclined to spend mine on the upper, and maybe the trigger.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!

I just want to keep it below $300 for the lower only. The rest of the build doesnt really have a budget. I just liked the idea of having 2 lowers for $300 instead of 1. However with the post above about surpluss arms and ammo i can get the noveske and a matched pair right at $300.

    Does that even make sense?

Some lowers command a premium, others do not. IF i was selling
non-tier 1,no buzz about yet, lowers. My goal is volume. I would rather make $10 per item and move 100 of them, then wait around trying to make $1K off one receiver.

    Cool My 2 cents -

Starting with what my wallet can do, and what kind of deal I can find, my "needs" do not require the "higher end" items.

So long and I have solid sound equipment, I am new enough that I have no concern with brands names.

And as a few members know, I just started my 1st build since a "ban" may be in the future.

In summary, if a ban takes place, I prefer to have more "toys to play with" than "one of the best to have"

I don't know about you, but I like that 3 pack. I'd even toss in the extra $5 for sequential serial numbers. You won't lose money on a deal like that, and you'll have the base for a couple more projects.
