There are not "special places" for disabled hunters. Disabled hunters can ask the Division for waivers from regulations, if they can establish that a particular regulation acts as an obstacle to their hunting.

I found this listed on another site: http://whiskeyspringsranch.org/

It says they specialize in hunting trips for handicapped individuals, but I know nothing about this company personally. Just thought it might be helpful in your search. Hopefully members will chime in with other options as well.

I believe they will also allow shooting from a vehicle depending on the disability.
Sometimes people trip and fall down stairs.
Sometimes assholes push people down stairs.
That doesn't mean "stairs are bad" nor does it make someone who pushes someone down the stairs any less of an asshole.

My dad is partially disabled. I have him hunt from a 4wheeler where he can. He can't get back into the good areas, but he's now more for the ride and the tranquility then the hunt after his surgery. If you need some help pm me, and i'll work with you.

Note that one does not just claim a disability allows one to ignore regulations and go out and start hunting in violation. You apply to the Division for a specific waiver of a specific regulation, supporting it with documentation regarding your disability and how that regulation prevents you from hunting.

If the disability is identified at 100% VA, he needs to send in the proper paperwork after contacting COPW and they will send him a free hunting license and he can also work through disability waivers. They can also probably point him to agencies that specialize in assisting disabled vets. There are a couple in the state.
