    Default D-Day

Please take a moment to think about the invasion of Europe and what it meant to the world at the time. It was the largest Allied invasion ever.

I traveled to Normandy in 2004 for the 60th anniversary. We airdropped a bunch of 101st Pathfinders outside of St. Mere Eglise.

Meeting all those vets and being part of the celebration is most likely the high point of my almost 19 years flying.

Next year my wife and I are thinking about going over for 64th anniversary.

The Headstone made me tear up when I saw it, so many had June 6, 1944 on them.
