    Default Swiss Rifle Museum

From my honeymoon in 2013. It was a rainy day in Bern so we were hitting up the different museums since our Swiss-Pass train passes gave us free admission. I had already found the museum online so we were able to work it into the itinerary. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try out the indoor air-gun range at the museum.

Great pictures. I especially like that melted machine gun.

If I recall that is a Sturmgewehr Mod 57 chambered in 7.5 Swiss. Adopted in 1957 before migrating to the NATO standard. The barrel was copied from the WW2 German design.

    Love the pics!

Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. --Jeff Cooper"
