Curiosity got the best of me, so a quick Google search produced an article dated April 8th 2015, on the truth about guns website, featuring a Double D rifle.

There are no rumors. He is/was unable to deliver a product on time . Still can't. Doubt he ever will.

They carry his rifles at Bristlocone. Salesman was all to eager to put one in my hands. He was deflated when I told him to be careful pushing those, he was liable to get an earful from someone that was burned in said GB.

I believe High Teck Customs is still around. Been years since hanging at is shop though.
Owner is Richie Reiley and they are on N Cascade about 3200 or so.
