Some folks, such as myself, prefer to at least have a complete upper if not the whole weapon for each caliber. It keeps the parts bin cleaner.
I would rather hoard a complete rifle versus multiple bins of unused parts.......
The wife was just watching that show on hoarders and giving me the "stink eye".
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.

Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

I guess that's my question, does anything have to be done with the bolt or is it the same EXACT bolt as the 5.56...

Bolt is the same because the case is essentially a large neck 223 case.

Exactly the same. 223 brass is the parent case for the 300 Whisper/Blackout.

Here is a pic of the 223, 300 Whisper and 300 Wilson. A 338 Lapua thrown in for size.

The other guys finally answered your question, but yes, all you need is a 300BLK barrel. Everything else is the same. Buy all your lefty stuff and throw on the new barrel and you'll be gtg.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.
