I was just looking around on the Boyd site, mostly looking for a stock for a 96 Swede, when I came across an unfinished Nutmeg Laminate M1 Garand stock set...for $65! Now, I better tell the wife what I ordered... Even when you add shipping, this is the same price as just a walnut buttstock, without shipping. I realize this won't look original, but I have a .308 Garand that I had built that has a walnut stock, and since the gun isn't original anyway I'm thinking I'll put it in this laminate stock and save the walnut.
