I highly dislike coffee as well, Jim... I've had it once... HATED it... Now Red Bull on the other hand...
Never had coffee or any energy drinks, Dr. Pepper is as much caffeine as I want.
I dont drink alcohol, coffee etc. Half of family is 7th day adventist. Heck, I am not supposed to be on the computer on Sabbath day.
I don't bend to the social pressure of energy drinks.

have had coffee before, but no more--no caffeine for me for six or seven years.
No love for coffee here. Probably related to when I was young, my older brother chased me around the house trying to get me to drink it, and my Mom always made it black & strong! Blech!
I do love the smell of coffee, however... I try to avoid energy drinks/caffeine, that stuff's really hard on the adrenal glands.

I don't touch the stuff.
I don't need to.
I got my doctor to put in an IV port so that I just mainline the stuff.
Used to drink a full 12 cup pot a day, usually in the space of an hour or two. Got to drinking one E drink a shift (nights). Finally found that I had to have more and more or it just plain wasn't saving me from shift work problems.
I'm off the E drinks though I think if you are not imbibing as a regular diet item they are still a nice emergency kick. (Specifically ones like Rockstar 2x the 320mg one, the standard 80mg cans of most brands are stupid as it's basically a $2.50 mug of coffee.) I'll still have a cup or two halfway through the shift to boost me on into sunrise where I naturally wake up.
For all those that hate coffee, esp only tried once or twice, should try actually creme and sugaring it. (Not to 400 calorie starbucks levels)
