In late August (the 26th) the Taliban beheaded 17 people for dancing at a co-ed party in Helmand province. On the first of this month they detonated a truck bomb in Wardak outside of COP Sayed Abad that killed some ANP and some civilians, destroyed civilian homes and seriously damaged a local mosque.

You don't have to look very far or very hard to find evidence against the whole "religion of peace" story. The treatment of women and children (eg - the weak) is one of the yardsticks I use to measure men. Muslim cultures tend to fall very, very short.

The other thing is the reproduction rate of Muslims vs the rest of the world. Like the Chinese what they cannot over run with force will be accomplished by sheer numbers.

Just think what the Chinese could do if they encouraged their citizens to freely reproduce

The Taliban is not a measure of Islam. They are constantly breaking the core tenants of Islam in their political war that they call religious.

And yet because of their professed beliefs most of the Muslim world considers the war in Afghanistan to be a war against believers. I've been lectured on the topic in the West Bank, Egypt and Kuwait. The Taliban might not be toeing the line, but the rest of the Muslim world considers them part of the tribe...

I think this is a bit too broad of a statement...
While there are quite a lot of contributions from "Christians and individuals who believed in the Judeo-Christian God", there are also a lot from non-Christians and non-Jews.

I would argue that, say, a Catholic (of which I am proud to be) wears their religion on their sleeve far less than a "born-again" - who would qualify under not being one of the "organized religions". I'm going to ignore that you consider me a "weak sister" for my faith and not go on a rant. Let's just agree to disagree.
