According to the Facebook Community Standards, Hate Speech is defined as: "Facebook does not permit hate speech. While we encourage you to challenge ideas, institutions, events, and practices,
it is a serious violation to attack a person based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or medical condition." On the "Dead and Disabled Troops are Comedy" page, there is a post on August 6th with a picture of a soldier who lost his arms in combat. The words "Lol, look at him he thinks he is a sailor. But sailors have arms" are overlaid on the picture. That soldier is being targeted by someone, specifically this group in question, BECAUSE of his disability. Which in other words is an attack on this soldier due to a disability, which is a "serious violation" of the Facebook Community Standards. However, according to the email I received in response to my flagging this group, the group does not violate the Facebook Community Standards.
