I've heard about that... someone I know had their car sideswiped by a bus, they were legally parked, and instead of going through RTD they went through their own insurance, hoping for subrogation, and their insurance was only able to recover 25%. Too late now, but I would have said "lawsuit" because the person had to go through so many hoops and spend more money than needed because of the whole process (rental was rough too). A person making just over $1,000 a month having to spend almost an entire month's paycheck on their deductible was bad enough. Yet another reason I hate RTD and hate having to pay them just because 2 buses come up to Evergreen (Which I never have and never will use!).
