We're probably 85% strict but definitely need to improve that. The nice thing is that when I decide to start lifting rather than losing weight, I simply eat more of the same things to support muscle gains rather than weight loss but I'll still be eating clean. A juice diet doesn't support that.

It's basically and detoxing thing. I'm trying it for a few days and I started tonight. Dinner was pretty rough. I tried adding some garlic and ginger thinking I could whip up some super healthy elixir, but it turned out pretty nasty. All I can think about is food. cheese. potatoes. cream of mushroom. anything. sooo starving.

I've gone a few weeks without gluten and that was pretty rough, but I think this will be worse. I'm shooting for a few days, but i'll go for longer if I start feeling better.

Anyone try anything like this? One of the signs/symptoms that a health guide gave as a reason to stop the juice fast was.....HUNGER.

Hopefully I don't rip someones head off at work tomorrow.
I believe we've talked about this before on the forum... Anyway, my wife had chronic hives (came out of no where), if you watched the video, you know how she found the video in a search. Anyway, we started the juice thing for her, who, hasn't had hives in about four months now. I did it just because (mainly support), and lost 50lbs in a month and a half. I stopped the diet at the beginning of summer and haven't put a pound on since... I'm more than likely going back on it to lose more (and the energy gain after a bit is unreal). I will say though... Nothing is more addictive than food, I know that now...............

    ^ That is not uncommon.

For those interested, watch a video called "The Gerson Miracle" on Netflix. Very interesting.

I gotta do something, because I could sure stand to lose about a buck-forty. I figger the extra weight I'm carrying around equals about three of those 40 lb. cement mix bags from Home Depot. Carry three of those fuckers around all the time, no wonder I hurt all over.

So I just ordered four lbs. of bacon from Gilpin Guy........
