Default Boulder Friends of NRA banquet, Sept 22nd

Friends of NRA is having their first ever banquet in Boulder on September 22nd and you should come.

Friends of NRA’s fundraising efforts allow the NRA Foundation to provide critical funding to firearms programs on the local, state, and national levels. Established in 1990, the NRA Foundation has funded over 18,000 grants, becoming America’s leading charitable org. in support of shooting sports. Grants from the NRA Foundation benefit programs such as youth education (4H, Boy Scouts, etc), range development, hunter education, conservation, marksmanship training and much more. .94 cents of every grant dollar we raise goes to grants!! NRA Foundation has a 4 star rating from Charity Navigator. FNRA is non-political and is a non-profit 501c3.

There are many fun things to do at a Friends of NRA Banquet. Here are a few:

    • Pre-Event Raffles –

    • Live Auction – Each event has a live auction with some very unique and limited items that can only be found at a FNRA Banquet. This year we have a NRA Jeep pedal car, a tobacco walking stick, Ronald Reagan’s “Tear Down This Wall” print, a Benelli Ultra Light 12ga shotgun, and a VERY NICE mystery firearm, just to name a few.

    • Silent Auction with Buy it Now! – We also have a silent auction that allows you the choice of paying a “Buy it Now” price that will also allow you to purchase a Buy it Now raffle ticket. This ticket will enter you into the drawing to win a Ruger LC9 handgun with a Crimson Trace laser grip. Always GREAT ODDS on winning.

    • Games – We’ll have at least 5 fun games in which the purchase of a ticket will allow you the chance to win an AWESOME firearm.

    • Buckets – Buckets are one of the most popular activities we have. You can purchase tickets for the buckets from this flier, and remember if you purchase before Sept 12th you get 2 for 1 ticket packs. That means buy 1 $1000 ticket pack and you really get $2000 worth of tickets. PLUS, with a $1000 ticket pack you get a nice .22lr handgun or rifle, based on availability, but you don’t get 2 for 1 guns sorry.

    • Dinner – A lovely sit down meal will be served at this event. Dinner options include NY steak, parmesan chicken or a vegetarian paella. There will also be hors d’oeuvres, desert and cash bar.

Our Goal – Our goal is to provide each person who attends a very nice and enjoyable evening, along with raising at least $25,001 to go toward grants to promote the shooting sports here in Colorado and nationally. We hope you will join us and help provide for our future 2A supporters. Please contact me with any questions,

Sounds like fun and maybe get to meet some new folks.

I'll look into coming. I saw on the website where I could order dinner tickets, bucket tickets, etc.

    I'll probably see you there.
