I've ordered several barrels from Palmetto Sate Armory and, although their order processing and shipping is incredibly slow by most people's standards, everything has been as expected so far.
Anyhow, I am putting together a lower budget rifle and since they had their lower build kits on sale for $79 I ordered one. This kit includes everything to finish out a stripped lower (buffer tube, stock, lower parts, etc.) and seemed like the way to go. So, after two weeks, the kit arrived.
I open in up and the first thing I notice is there are two standard A2 grips and two trigger guards in the kit. Odd, but whatever. So I start putting things together and then I notice there are a couple of things missing. There is no hammer, no disconnector, no trigger, no hammer or trigger pins, and no hammer, trigger, or disconnector springs.
Then I also found out that the safety selector wasn't drilled properly and the selector won't stay in the "safe" position.
Needless to say they will be getting a call first thing in the morning.
