    Default Glock 21- 10MM

Anyone convert their 21's to a 10mm using the Storm Lake kit? Curious about performance and reliability. They run ~$160. Thanks

Are you talking about the conversion barrels?

I ran a lone wolf distributors 40 to 9mm conversion barrel in IDPA for a while. It would stovepipe every once and a while... Usually right when I was about to wrap up a good score. I sold it and saved up for a dedicated 9mm.

So, if you just want to goof around with 10mm at the range and have a little fun its ok.
If you want to carry 10mm for serious purposes or compete with it, I would suggest against the conversion barrel. (unless the conversion designs have improved over the years)

It's the extractors that cause problems usually. Especially in 9mm, as it's a different size/kind/angle than .40.

    I personally haven't tried converting a 21 to a 10mm...
