What is this?
They have been building it on the side of I-25 so it has to be a fine use of our tax dollars I just can't figure it out, looks to be some sort of dinosaur? It is between colo. city and walsenburg.
From the convex mirror it looks like a freightliner or an international but I'm not sure.

I believe that would be called "art". AKA huge waste of money. Looks like in the middle of nowhere.
I'm sure to the contractor(s) building it, it's a $$$$$ cow.
It's a freightliner, to low to the ground to be a shelter, and yep middle of nowhere. And I'm sure it's a waste of money just can't figure out what they are wasting it on yet.
There is a claus in some Colorado improvement projects that a certain percentage of the total contract amount will be used for artistic purposes.
Someone more knowledgable can explain it better.
I think the amount is something like 3 - 5%.
A total waste of tax dollars.......
