Health insurance is never going to get cheaper - fact. That being said, my best friend's wife just died at age 45 from a rare long-term disease. Because of the disease being a "pre-existing condition" she did not qualify for health insurance. He's now having to file bankruptsy because of all the medical bills. People think just because someone passes away, so do all their bills, not true. Had he been able to purchase medical insurance for her - regardless of expense - at least it may have been able to help some. I don't like the idea of having pay "more" for health insurance any more than you guys & gals, but I've seen both sides of it and it's ugly no matter how you see it.
cover colorado would have worked for your friend's wife.
or just say "no habla englese", that seems to work too (and is 50% of the real problem)
